Penile cancer is a rare type of cancer that occurs on the skin or in the tissues of the penis. It most commonly starts in the skin cells and can spread if not detected early. Risk factors include poor hygiene, HPV infection, smoking, and phimosis.

  • Symptoms: Lumps, sores, redness, or growths on the penis.
  • Pain/Discomfort: Persistent pain, bleeding, or discharge.
  • Risk Factors: HPV infection, phimosis (tight foreskin), smoking, poor hygiene.
  • Prevention: Good genital hygiene, HPV vaccination, circumcision in some cases.
